Celebrate Baltimore’s Quiet Champions
Unsung Heroes is our annual community celebration honoring individuals and organizations who quietly make a difference in Baltimore. These heroes devote time, energy, and heart to the well-being of their neighbors—often without seeking recognition.
We invite nominations from across the city to spotlight compassion, commitment, and impact—and to inspire more people to help build a stronger, more connected Baltimore.

What’s New This Year
Alongside our community-nominated honorees, we’ll present 10K Honor Awards to elders ages 80–100 whose lifetime contributions have uplifted Baltimore.
Important: You can nominate any deserving person or organization—of any age.
The 10K Honor Award is a special category for elders; it does not limit who can be nominated.
Who Can Be Nominated?
Everyday neighbors, volunteers, caregivers, youth leaders, block captains
Grassroots organizers, faith/community partners, mutual aid leaders
Local nonprofits, small businesses, or coalitions serving Baltimore residents
We especially welcome nominations that reflect:

Compassion (care for neighbors)
Commitment (sustained effort over time)
How Nominations Work
